Born and raised in South Tyrol, Eva Kuen trained as an actress in Vienna, Avignon, and New York. After discontinuing her violoncello studies at the Conservatory in Bolzano and an adventurous interlude on a sailing ship, she has worked as a freelance actress (including Alice im Wunderland, Nachtland) and director (including (R)evolution, Die Turingmaschine).
She regularly appears on screen, most recently in the feature film Zweitland and the TV series Schnell ermittelt, Die Liesl von der Post, and Der Bozen Krimi. She likes to focus on interdisciplinary projects regarding female empowerment and eco-social justice, such as the awareness campaigns against violence against women for the Province of Bolzano–South Tyrol; the audio guides for the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology; and the teatrepeace Bis in die Puppen – Utopie to go. As Corinne Amrand, she writes original songs with musician Simon Gamper. In 2025 she published the childrensbook with musik Halfutin Schukrutnitsch.
