Born in Hamburg in 1966, commercial vocational training in banking, several years as a businesswoman in an international art publishing house. 1995-96 German studies at the University of Hamburg, Department of Media Studies under Knut Hickethier. 1997 Set assistant for feature film productions at Studio Hamburg Produktion, Relevant Filmproduktion, among others. 1997-99 Hanseatic Academy for Marketing & Media, communications specialist in A/V media, film production department. 1999 One-year technical internship at Cine Licht Hamburg, working in lighting, grip, and camera. Subsequently worked as a camera assistant for music videos, commercials, and feature film productions. After parental leave, worked as a production assistant for film productions in Hamburg. 2018 Moved to South Tyrol, partner at MPJ Atelier 292, certified green consultant since 2021, 2023 co-founder of RIVERSTUDIO, rental studio for photo and film productions, Merano.
