Andreas Pichler is an award-winning director (Prix Italia, Grimme Prize, French-German Journalist Award, Prix Europe Nominee, among others) based in Italy and working in Germany for many years. He gained international recognition with acclaimed documentary films such as The Venice Syndrome (2012, director, writer), The Milk System (2017, director, writer), which was shown in cinemas and on Netflix, Alcohol – The Magic Potion (2019, director, writer), and Dangerously Close (2023, director, writer), a major success in Italian cinemas. His latest film Elon Musk Revealed – The Tesla Experiment (2025) will have cinema release in different countries. All his works are international co-productions that have been screened at leading festivals and broadcast worldwide.
