Felix Rier, born and raised in the Italian Alps, moved to Berlin in 2016 and trained as a media designer, working in the camera department as a camera assistant, junior DOP, and sound technician. From 2019 to 2022, he studied camera and lighting at ZeLIG - School for Documentary. Since then he has been working as a freelance DOP, sound technician and director. DESPITE THE SCARS – AUCH WENN NARBEN BLEIBEN is his feature film debut.
