Demetra Rizzi is a film editor specialising in documentary filmmaking. Born in Milan and raised in South Tyrol, she completed her three-year training at Zelig – School of Documentary Cinema in 2022, graduating in the editing programme, where her diploma film Cloudy Memories received international recognition, winning the Best Film "Local Artist" Award at Crossing Europe IFF, Linz 2023, and the ADA Award for Best Austrian Documentary at Ethnocineca, Vienna 2023.
Since 2022 she has been working as an editor and assistant editor for several local production companies, including on documentaries and television programmes in German and Italian for Rai Südtirol and Rai Alto Adige, bringing experience across the full range of audiovisual post-production.
