Cecilia Bozza Wolf

DIRECTOR / SCREENWRITER

Cecilia Bozza Wolf (born in Trento, Italy, in 1989) graduated in Arts, Music and Performing Arts from the University of Padua and later earned a degree in Directing from the ZeLIG School for Documentary, Television and New Media in Bolzano, where she directed her graduation film Vergot, which went on to receive several awards at national and international film festivals. Since 2016, she has been the official videomaker for Arte Sella and founded VERGOTfilms, a production company focused on film education, storytelling and documentary work in the social and arts fields. In 2020, she was selected for Academy IDS with the serial documentary project Dark Mountain, inspired by Tristi Montagne by sociologist Christian Arnoldi. In 2023, her first fiction feature film, Rispet, produced by Stefilm International, was released.She is currently developing the dark comedy Confusia, produced by Albolina Film, and the thriller/horror feature PanoramaHotel, produced by Hive Division.
